Swiss equity markets: Volatility with positive performance
The Swiss stock exchange performed positively in the first half of 2026, despite early-year volatility and global disruptions. The blue-chip barometer Swiss Market Index (SMI) reached 14,194 points at the end of June, which corresponds to an increase of 7.0%.
The broad-based Swiss Performance Index (SPI) reached 20,015 points, up 9.9% from its 2025 close.
Interroll share underperformed the Swiss indices
In the first half of 2026, the Interroll share underperformed the SPI. With a closing price of CHF 1,274.00 on June 30, 2026, the Interroll share was 42.1% below the 2025 year-end price (CHF 2,200.00).
The Interroll share thus significantly underperformed the Swiss indices. The Group’s market capitalization amounted to CHF 1.1 billion.
Stable free float
Approximately 8% of Interroll shares (December 31, 2025: approximately 8%) are held by the remaining founding families. The free float as defined by the SIX Swiss Exchange was around 92% as of June 30, 2026 (December 31, 2025: around 92%).
